Introduction

SUFE has been focused on discipline construction in the areas of finance and economics as well as management, for which it is famous. Priority has also been given to the development of newly emerging disciplines and frontier subjects. The academic units of SUFE include The School of Accountancy, The School of Finance, The School of International Business Administration, The School of Economics, The School of Law, The School of Humanities, The School of Public Economics and Administration, as well as The Department of Statistics, The Department of Foreign Languages, The School of Information Management and Engineering, The Department of Applied Mathematics, The Department of Physical Education, The School of MBA Program, the School of International Culture Exchange, the School of Continuing Education and the School of International Education Program.

SUFE has 3 national key disciplines, 3 nation national bases of teaching and scientific research, and 7 provincial and ministerial key disciplines. It has 36 undergraduate majors, 4 authorized units for conferring Ph D. degrees of first-class discipline, 3 post-doctoral mobile stations, 44 authorized units for conferring Ph D. degrees of second-class discipline, 74 authorized units for conferring Master degrees.

SUFE is a multi-dimensional university, focused on both undergraduate and graduate education. Emphasis has always been put on both teaching and scientific research. Coordinated development of multi-disciplines has been achieved.
