In recent years, advancing with the times, SUFE has been focused on discipline construction in the areas of finance and economics as well as management, for which it is famous. Priority has also been given to the development of newly emerging disciplines and frontier subjects. The academic units of SUFE include The School of Accountancy, The School of Finance, The School of International Business Administration, The School of Economics, The School of Law, The School of Humanities, The School of Public Economics and Administration, as well as The Department of Statistics, The Department of Foreign Languages, The Department of Information Management, The Department of Applied Mathematics, The Department of Physical Education, and The School of Graduate Studies, The College of Adult Education, The College of Advanced Vocational Technology, The School of International Cultural Exchanges, and The Institute for International Professional Education.
SUFE offers 3 post-doctoral research centers, 34 Ph.D. degree programs, 53 Master degree programs (including MBA, MPA), and 37 bachelor programs, among which there are 3 national key programs (namely, Accountancy, History of Economic Thoughts, and Finance), 2 national key research bases, and 7 provincial key programs (including Statistics, Industrial Economics, Banking, International Trade and Business Administration).
SUFE is a multi-dimensional university, focused on both undergraduate and graduate education. Emphasis has always been put on both research and teaching work. Coordinated development of multi disciplines has been achieved.
