The Xujiahui area is named after Xu Guangqi, an astronomer of the Ming Dynasty. He was famous for his studies of different cultures. It is the second busiest area of Shanghai, after the downtown’s Nanjing Donglu. It’s in the South of the city.
How can I get to Xujiahui?
● Take Bus 537, and then transfer to Metro Line 1 at the People’s Square to Xujiahui.
● Take Metro Line 3 to Shanghai Railway Station, and then transfer to Metro Line 1 to Xujiahui.
