Investor confidence down, but not out

INVESTOR confidence hit a two-year low in Shanghaiin the last quarter of2011, a survey revealed yesterday, although it was still above the level that would indicate a lack of it. The Investor Sentiment Index was 108.96, 1.07 points down compared to last year's third quarter, according to a quarterly survey by theShanghai University of Finance and Economics. A reading above 100 indicates confidence, below 100 a lack of it.

Accompanied by Yongzhang Liu, Deputy Secretary of SUFE’s CPC Committee, Vice President Zheng Sun , Hongwei Wang and Zhongfei Zhou, Secretary of SUFE’s CPC Committee Qinrong Ma and President Min Tan paid a visit to those staff who remained at their posts in winter holiday. Leaders visited places like the canteen, dormitories, etc. Staff also received new year greetings as well as gifts.
